The AGM was held on December 16, 2008 at the Norcross Hilton Hotel as previously announced to the membership. Members of the Executive Board reported on the activities of their respective committees and the Coaching Directors gave reports on the success of the Recreation and Select Programs. Referee Administrator, Kevin Biando updated everyone on NSA officials and their progress. Tony Annan, NSA Executive Director of Coaching (EDOC), gave his annual review and also reported that the 2008 Norcross Nike Cup Tournament was the biggest yet. He especially thanked the record number of volunteers, led this year by Tournament Committee Co-Chairs, Anne Johnson and David McEachern. Secretary/Treasurer, Weare Gratwick gave a summary of the financial condition of the association which remains very strong, due in large part to the success of the tournament, which is the association's largest fundraiser. James Welch, NSA President, thanked everyone at NSA for their work and achievements and gave an overview of the year and the direction for NSA in 2009.
