The Norcross Soccer Select program offers an opportunity for the above average youth player (ages 8 - 18) to participate in a more challenging soccer environment. Select players play at a more competitive and intense level, but the goal remains to learn and to have fun.  

Select teams are formed once per year with play during the Fall and Spring seasons. Players are chosen during tryouts in the summer months and are drafted to teams based on their individual skills and team requirements. Additional tryouts may be held between the Fall and Spring seasons at the discretion of the team’s coach.

Girls (Athena) and Boys (Classic) teams are assigned to divisions by the Georgia Youth Soccer Association (GYSA) and will travel to venues to compete against teams from other soccer organizations. At NSA, the teams are called Fury. All home games are played at the soccer complex at Pinckneyville Park.

All activities of the Norcross Soccer Select program including tryouts, team formation, competition, and tournaments are governed by Georgia Soccer. For more information about Georgia Soccer, visit their website at www.gasoccer.org.

For Spring 2007: Practice for the Spring season will start the week of February 5; first regular season game will be March 3. The regular season will end mid-May.
