Recreation Program

The Recreation program creates a fun environment where boys and girls ages 4 to 18 can play and grow while developing a love for the game of soccer. The Fall season runs from mid-August until mid-November. The Spring season runs from mid-February until mid-May. Registration is open to anyone who is 4-18 years old by August 1 of the soccer year that wants to participate in the Recreational program.

For the very young, NSA has a program called Shooting Stars. This program is designed for children 3-4 years of age and promotes fun and lots of activity with many touches on the ball.

Select Program

NSA’s Select program is geared toward players that are interested in participating in an even more competitive environment than found in the Recreational program and are looking for a more challenging soccer environment. Players that play at the Select level usually have a personal goal, such as to play for the high school varsity team, a college soccer program, or beyond. The main objective of the Select program is to help each player reach his/her full potential and achieve his/her goal.

Player tryouts are held in May and June each year, depending on the age group. Actual dates for tryouts can be found on our Calendar of Events. Our professional coaching staff evaluates the skills, potential and enthusiasm of each candidate to determine who will play at the Select level. Those that are not successful in making a Select team are encouraged to continue to develop their skill in our Recreation program and return the following year for tryouts.

TOPSoccer - currently, we are not able to offer TOPSoccer at NSA because we need a volunteer to run the program. If interested, please email volunteer@norcross-soccer.org.

TOPSoccer (the Outreach Program for Soccer) is the program for players with special needs. TOPSoccer is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by NSA volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, ages 4-19, who has a mental or physical disability. Our goal is to enable the thousands of young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the NSA Youth Soccer & US Youth Soccer families.

Also see the TOPSoccer page on the Georgia Youth Soccer Association website.
