Norcross Fury Gold U-15 boys champions at CESA, Atlanta Cup, and South Charlotte Invitational The 94 Norcross Fury Gold Team, coached by Bryan Waltenburg, won the U15 Boys Blue Division in the CESA tournament Sept. 20-21 in Greenville, South Carolina. The boys advanced to the Finals with scores of 2-1, 1-1, and 4-0. They won the championship game with a score of 3-0. The boys were also champions at their two other preseason tournaments. They won the U15 Boys C Division at the Atlanta Cup and U15 Boys Silver Division at the South Charlotte Invitational. During the Championship game at the Atlanta Cup, they were tied at the end of regulation time. They won the game 3-0 in overtime. Congratulations to the players and Coach Bryan Waltenburg!

Norcross Fury Blue U-17 boys finalist at Charlotte Invitational Coached by Paul Buckley, the 92 Boys Blue team played in the U18 Bronze division, winning all three round-robin games without giving up a goal. They lost 1-0 in the finals. After the tournament, coach Paul said “Charlotte was a great start to the season, the whole squad performed very well. The boys applied the defensive work we had done in training and only conceded one goal over four games, which was very pleasing. The weekend in Charlotte will prove invaluable in regards to fitness and I now have a much better feel for individual players and areas we need to improve on as a team during the regular season.”
Norcross Fury Blue U-13 girls finalist at Charlotte Invitational Coached by Judas Kinchen, the 96 Girls Blue team played in the U13 Silver division and tied the first two games with scores of 1-1 and 0-0. They played the winner of Flight B in their division and won 1-0 putting them in the final game. They played the local South Charlotte Soccer Associate Team in the finals and ended the regulation game tied at 0-0. They lost in overtime 1-0.
